Two years of research were necessary to define and unveil Sim2’s C3X DLP projector.
Sim2 claims that it is the lightest, smallest and most competitive in terms of pricing among the crowd of 3-Chip DLP projectors.
As for the price, which is one of the major problems of the Tri DLP technology, the Sim2’s C3X will come at £10,999. Other problems were about the size and the design of such devices. The C3X is the Italian firm's answer to these challenges.
Tri DLP technology is unquestionably among the best projector technologies, since there’s no chromatic wheel, nor “rainbow” effect, and it obtains a better color separation… to get a better image.
The C3X series propose two levels of brilliance, 1500 and 2500 lumens, so that one can move the projector to more than 10 meters without altering the image quality.
The C3X incorporates Texas Instrument’s DC3 chipsets, and the company’s new ALPHAPATH light engine which is coupled to three TI HD2+ DarkChip 3 chipsets. It is HD broadcasts compatible and delivers a phenomenal 6500:1 contrast ratio.
Last, efficient thermal and lamp management reduces fan noise ad increases the product’s lifetime.
