Optoma comes to the IFA with its new H79 High-Def projector...
This device is a member of the much acclaimed ThemeScene family and has been constructed around the chassis of its predecessor H78, but at its heart is the HD2+ DarkChip3™ Digital Light Processing™ technology from Texas Instruments, allowing for a 1280x720 pixels resolution.
The 10 Bits video management has been coupled to a 8 segments (5x) colour wheel. This allows for a 4000:1 contrast ratio and 1000 lumens brightness.
Since the H78, Optoma has been working on the shield design of the casing. The "strategic" use of baffles within the cooling tunnel, air speeds are reduced resulting in virtually silent operation. The resulting 23dB noise level makes the ThemeScene® H79 one of the quietest projectors available.
The vertical lens shift control adjusts the vertical position of the projected image. Full 100% vertical offset enables flexible positioning of the projector without compromising image quality.
The H79 is High-Def ready with HDMI and DVI inputs. It also comes with 3 component progressive analog that are coupled with the classic S-Video and composite.
