Wall mounted or on a table, this is a breakthrough device

LG Electronics announced availability in September in the UK of its "slim" wall mounted ultra flat DLP projector -dubbed AN110. Its size speaks for itself: This is a 443,4 x 254,2 x 92 mm device that looks more like a small flat screen TV. The concept is based on discretion, thus its very unusual look: The AN110 goes away from the big shoebox look tat hangs from your ceiling. The user can choose to hang it the opposite wall or simply on a table like any flat screen monitor. Its optical lens is positioned on the side.

Equipped with a 1280x768 pixels DLP resolution, it offers a 3000:1 contrast ratio and 1100 lumens. In addition to what "the vertical lens shift +/-125%, x1/32 ~ x32 digital zoom, separated left and right digital keystone function, and motorised zoom and focus enhances the throw ratio up to more than x1.4 allowing a 100 inch large screen display from a 3.8m to 5.3m distance."

The noise level does not go beyong 25dB, thanks to its in-house developed ICND™ (Integrated Cooling and Noise Design) system.

It will be proposed in black or white finishes at a price that should be comprised between 1800 and 2500 pounds.
