The "DENON LINK'" is a Digital Audio interface that had already been approved for CD and DVD-Audio by the 4C Entity in 2003. The "DENON LINK 3rd Edition" (DENON LINK 3rd) enables digital transmission of DSD signals on Super Audio CD.

DENON LINK 3rd "enables full-spec digital transmission of all sources, from CD and DVD-Video to the multi-channel signals of Super Audio CD and DVD-Audio". Simply connect the dedicated DENON LINK cable supplied with the DVD player, and you're on for DVD and A/V Surround player. "It uses high-speed transfer elements made possible with balanced transmission to achieve high-speed, high-grade digital transmission in real time and with negligible signal degradation". DENON LINK "enables direct transmission of PCM 24-bit 192-kHz digital signals, jitter-free and with high Signal-to-Noise ratio, from DVD-Audio, Super Audio CD, and other sources featuring high speed and high sound quality.

DENON LINK gives life to the high-quality sound reproduction capabilities of amps and DVD players equipped with this technology. Set-up is also as easy as connecting a single cable and enabling DENON LINK on the amplifier and DVD Player via the on-screen set-up menus".
