New versatile Infocus X3 projector is suited for Work AND Home.

The new InFocus X3 projector is about flexibility and versatility: Its extensive connectivity allows this machine to go with computers, PDAs, DVD players, satellite TV receivers, video game consoles and other business tools or CE devices.

Weughing only 6.8 lbs.(3.08 Kg), it is capable of 1600 lumens and 2000:1 contrast ratio. Automatic deinterlacingprovide for smooth, "true-to-life" images that can satisfy the user for, say, a business presentation during the day and a Home movie at night. The InFocus X3 comes with the Texas Instruments "DarkChip2" DLP(TM) technology that is capable of providing amazing picture quality when playing DVDs at home.

InFocus also provides the LiteShow(R), secure wireless solution hence avoiding the burden of cables when presenting, using a simple button. To enhance the experience, InFocus offers several accessories for the X3, including portable screens for the mobile professional or TV enthusiast, ceiling mounts, cables, and specialized carry cases with color-coded cable organizers.

The InFocus X3 will be available in the U.S. in May 2005 for $1,199 (around GBP640).
