P42HHA40 is a 16:9 1024X1024 pixel HDTV. It uses a Fujitsu made process Alternate Lighting of Surfaces (ALIS) colour PDPs that reproduce real-life images for home high-definition television (HDTV) broadcasting (Fujitsu has also developed the e-ALIS -Extended Alternate Lighting of Surfaces- in 2004 to develop the world's first 55V-inch WXGA. P42HHA40 has a 1000:1 contrast ratio and 1000 cd/m2 brightness.
P50XHA40 is a 16:9, 1366X768 pixel HDTV plasma panel with a contrast ratio of 3000:1 and a 600 cd/m2.
Both devices are equipped with S-Video, two component Video, Composite, 15-pin D-sub VGA, DVI-D, 3 Stereo inputs, and an optional RGB Scart to VGA adapter. They are both HDMI (HDCP capable), which means that buyers will be able to cope with future BSkyB HDTV programmes due in 2006.
