The F3 /Action 3 was revealed at the SATIS 2004. It obviously plays in the top segment with no compromise given to quality, superb support and design.
The F3 positions itself between Tri-DLP and High End Mono-DLP. It can be used both in a professional and domestic Home Video environments. This machine is set in 2 versions, using one chassis with the F3 denomination targeting the professional segment, while Action is more (wealthy and passionate) consumer oriented. It integrates a 1400x1050 pixels DLP matrix which is coupled with a new high power two lenses system offering 5500 Lumens capacity. The system includes 2 variable irises for adjustable contrast, claiming 5000:1 .
An LCD display and backlight control is set at the rear of the machine that allows for continous system status overview without using on-screen menu system.
The 'Action 3' Home Video version is equipped with a DLP 16/9 matrix. Its luminosity is a bit lower than that of the F3 SET.
Both come with a significant connectivity: VGA, BNC, DVI, component, S-Video, composite, LAN, RS232, USB, IR and trigger, in order to content the most demanding customers.
