Las Vegas, NV - Samsung Electronics America, Inc ., a global innovator in the DVD category, continues its leadership in the portable player arena with two new compact models geared for families and business travelers. The fourth-generation 10" DVD-L300 and the new 7" DVD-L70 confirm Samsung's ability to offer portable DVD players that are as stylish as they are compact and lightweight. Samsung's full DVD line will be on display during CES 2005 at the Samsung booth, #11024, in the Central Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center from January 6th - 9th.

Indeed, both players top their respective classes in pure power. The DVD-L300's 10" TFT LCD display and the DVD-L70's 7" TFT LCD display both offer 480P resolution, a 16:9 aspect ratio and a 160-degree viewing angle for incomparable front-of-screen performance. Both are big on features, too, with A/V inputs and outputs, including an S-video connection and handy credit card remote control. In addition, both the DVD-L300 and DVD-L70 come equipped with a letterbox eliminator and picture CD viewer. The DVD-L300 players also offer Adaptive Image Control, which enables the viewer to select one of four different viewing settings that maximize LCD performance based on lighting conditions.
The DVD-L70 further raises the bar with its sleek industrial design. Designed for consumers who want an ultra-light DVD portable but don't want to sacrifice functionality, the DVD-L70 makes a style statement like no other player available on the market today.
