Delivering high quality sound production as well as design flexibility the Vario fits many sets. Once Vario is mounted on the wall, its flexible construction can be easily varied to accommodate the size and shape of the accompanying screen or projector. “A full year of research and experiments has resulted in an extremely unique speaker perfectly compatible to today's flat screen domination” Says Meir Mordechai, President and Founder of Morel. “And exactly like our SA-2 satellite speakers, we have arrived here before the rest of the pack”.
The Vario box is constructed from MDF wood-fibers to eliminate sound deterioration created by vibrations and resonance and deliver high quality and clarity. Two 5 ” (130mm) bass midrange woofers and a soft dome tweeter are installed in every Vario unit. The two midrange bass units are a powerful combination of some of Morel's groundbreaking innovations including the unique double magnet, large-diameter 3” (75mm) Hexatech™ aluminum coil based on External Voice Coil (EVC™) technology, and rear-vented magnetic motor.
To complement the Vario, morel has designed the Vario sub-woofer, a perfect match: both in style and design. The sub-woofer's flat, elegant shape allows it to be placed next to the wall, either standing upright or lying down. The active sub woofer features a 220W amplifier and 10” (260mm) bass unit.
