With SACD and DVD-Audio playback capabilities, the DV7600 offers both audiophiles and video aficionados an ultimate-quality home entertainment source component with legendary Marantz build quality at a new mid-level price point. Available in March of 2005, the DV7600 will carry a suggested retail price of $1,099. It joins the full line of Marantz DVD players, which also includes the recently announced flagship DV9500, DV6500 and the progressive scan DV4500.

The Marantz DV7600 universal DVD player is an ideal solution for enjoying ultimate high-quality home entertainment. It includes many of the same features and benefits as the company's flagship DV9500, including an HDMI interface for a direct digital connection, video scaling circuitry capable of outputting video signals to 720p and 1080i, and 3:2 and 2:2 pulldown detection. For optimum image quality the DV7600 features 216MHz/12-bit video D/A converters, true 10-bit video processing plus Marantz's proprietary HDAM (High Definition Amplifier Module) output stages. Reflecting Marantz's heritage as a legendary audio company, the DV7600 also features some of the world's most advanced audio technologies, such as leading-edge 192 kHz/24-bit audio D/A converters and full bass management for DVD-Audio and SACD discs. The DV7600 also offers a “Pure Direct” mode for use as an audio-only playback component, ensuring audiophile sound quality without EMI interference from the advanced video circuitry.

Like all of Marantz's Universal DVD players, the DV7500 plays every major format of optical discs from MP3s to CD, CD-R, CD-RW, VCD 2.0, WMA and photo discs.

Introduced in the fall of 2004, the Marantz DV9500 raises the bar in universal DVD player performance. It was the world's first DVD-Audio player to incorporate Dolby Headphone ® , which allows users to listen to music, watch movies, or play video games with the dramatic surround effects of a 5.1-channel soundtrack through any set of headphones. T he DV9500 also includes an HDMI interface, scaling to 720p and 1080i, Marantz's proprietary HDAM-2 SA (High Definition Amplifier Module2 – Super Audio) output stages, 216 MHz/14-bit video decoding and advanced audio circuitry. Engineered for exemplary video and audio performance, it features 3:2 pulldown, as well as two-channel and multi-channel DVD-Audio and SACD capability. Progressive scan component video output with and 54MHz 10-bit video D/A converters ensure optimum video images. For superb audio performance, the DV6500 includes 192kHz 24-bit audio D/A converters. For total convenience and ease-of-use, the player features Marantz' newly designed remote control, RC-5 connections for integrated system control, and front-panel menu operation.
