Early last November, 396 very lucky people (including us!) had the experience of their lives aboard the beautiful Explorer of the Seas and were able to assist at high level conferences as well as exchange views about technological developments while enjoying the splendid amenities of this mega floating Palace Hotel .

During the evening, parties were sponsored by major home theater companies (D-Box, Runco, DTS, Mitsubishi, Faroudja, Stewart…). Several manufactures took this opportunity to showcase their newest products:
•  Yamaha with its THX DSP-AZ9 receiver and client/server combo Musicast .
•  D-Box with its new hard drive equipped controller and its new vibrating chair.
•  Faroudja with its new scaler and DVP-2000 DVD player.
•  Stewart and Runco also introduced new "hot" products.

Mixing business and (real !) pleasure, the conferences took place while the cruise ship was at sea, and during the day there were many excursions we had the privilege to enjoy at the wonderful ports of call (Puerto Rico, St Martens, St Thomas, Nassau…).

To round-out the event, a charity sale was put together for the benefit of the ELF Foundation, where many brands generously donated products : Runco (video projector and a week end in San Francisco with Sam Runco himself!), Studio Experience (plasma TV), Faroudja (scaler), D-Box (Motion simulator system), Infocus (video projector), Exad Power (power regulator), Better Cables (set of cables), Anchors Away (room for the 2004 Home Theater Cruise).
