Two Games 4 Free

Microsoft, makers of the Xbox, are henceforth offering the unit with two free games made by the Japanese gaming giant Sega.

For 199 dollars (202 euros), you get the Xbox console, a smaller pad, previously an option, the skateboard game "Jet Set Radio Future" and the car racing game "Sega GT 2002", giving you total savings of 100 dollars (101 euros), according to Microsoft.

"Now that each of the console manufacturers are in their second year – three for Sony, they’re going for a broader audience. And what counts for the average player is value for money", said John O'Rourke, Microsoft’s Xbox Marketing Manager.

The Xbox by Microsoft and the GameCube by Nintendo were both launched in November 2001 and Sony’s Playstation 2, still number one in the market, at the end of 2000.

Nintendo will also be offering a game - "Super Mario Sunshine", and an additional memory card with their Game Cube from the end of the year, with an estimated additional cost of 40 dollars (40,55 euros).
