All the best...

Just a quickie to let you know that Sony has joined the mad race for recordable DVD.

In a few words, the creators of the “dog without a heart” has launched, in Japan, the RDR-A11, a recordable DVD machine using the technology developed by Pioneer.

This first “living room” recorder from Sony is, for the moment, destined to the Asian market. The RDR-A11 disposes of the same characteristics as its competitors: UHF/VHF tuner, 5.1 audio encoder, compatibility with DVD Video, Firewire interface….
In other words, the best of everything currently available in systems finds its place in this unit.

In any case, we’ll come back in more detail on the RDR-A11, just as soon as we have some more information.
