They offer the renowned Cabasse quality sound with the ability to stream from networks, tablets and phones and turn any connected USB drive into a DLNA server.
Building on the launch earlier this year of the Cabasse Stream 3, Cabasse is making forward-looking inroads into the streaming sector by providing a comprehensive, yet simple and elegant, streaming solution at an affordable price point.

Stream 1 is a compact, standalone, streaming music playback system with built-in speakers, designed to be free-standing, either horizontally or vertically, or can even be wall-mounted. In an elegant pebble shaped form, the Stream 1 contains all the amplifiers and streaming electronics, while featuring the world-renowned Cabasse coaxial drivers, for a wide dispersion of sound and respect of timbres.

Stream 1 plays music stored on a network, tablet or smartphone via Wi-Fi, Ethernet or Bluetooth, and is controlled by the Cabasse app for iOS or Android. The addition of the latest NFC technology allows instant ‘touch’ connection of any NFC equipped smartphone or tablet.

Built-in automatic DLNA server software enables any directly connected USB stick or hard drive to be made available to the whole network, for playback on any other Stream players, alleviating the necessity for complex server configuration.

Without internal speakers, Stream Source offers the same Cabasse USB DLNA server streaming technology by using an existing hi-fi system. Also pebble shaped but just 4cm x 23cm x 14cm in size, Stream Source is a stylish way to bring the connectivity of the other Stream products to the main system in the house.

The high quality digital to analogue converters, Wolfson DAC, take the digital signal from the network in file formats from MP3 to 96kHz FLAC and present them in the best possible quality to the hi-fi for playback through the existing speakers. As with the Stream 1, Bluetooth connectivity is possible with smartphones or tablets using the APTX codec for higher quality reproduction of the music stored on the device. Similarly, embedded DLNA software enables the music on any directly connected USB drive to be instantly made available across the network.

All Cabasse streaming products are compatible with MP3, WAV, WMA, AAC, AIFF, ALAC and FLAC file formats and contain both the vTuner module, for access to thousands of internet radio stations as well as the Deezer streaming module, particularly popular in France but also in other countries, for instant access to over 25 million online songs.
