Onkyo’s latest firmware upgrade brings AUPEO! internet radio to its 2011 range of home cinema receivers.

AUPEO! offers a free online selection of 120 dedicated music channels. You can search for a specific artist on Artist Radio, or use the ‘Mood Selector’ to find tunes that suit your mood.
Onkyo owners will be able to use the basic, ad-funded version of the service for free, or subscribe to the ad-free version for €4.95 a month.
There’s also a firmware upgrade on the way that will allow owners of older networked Onkyo receivers including the TX-NR509, TX-NR579, TX-NR609, TX-NR709, TX-NR809, TX-NR1009 and TX-8050 to use the AUPEO! service too.
The upgrade is available for the new models now, with the older models following later this year.
