The compact system includes a CD player, built-in stereo amplifier (2×65 watts), AirPlay, internet radio, network music streaming, plus a hidden iPhone/iPod dock and USB socket.
The Denon Ceol Noir (see what they’ve done there?) also includes Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity, plus an analogue AM/FM radio and a digital optical input. It supports DLNA, FLAC 96kHz/24-bit audio files, Napster and LastFM.
It can be bought without speakers for £500 from September and it can be matched with Denon’s own SC-N7s or any speakers of your choice.
