Speaker manufacturer PSB has announced a new addition to its CustomSound Series with the CS1000 outdoor speaker.

The ‘all-weather’ speaker is intended for use on patios and in back gardens, with a durable UV-resistant polypropylene cabinet, aluminium grille and rustproof speaker terminals surrounded by a rubber cover.
It features a two-way design with a 25mm titanium dome tweeter and 16.5cm bass/mid driver with a clay/ceramic injection-filled polypropylene cone. The cone features internal ribbing for extra stiffness and there’s a front-facing bass port with a rubber bung to fine-tune the low end.
It comes with a flexible mounting bracket which allows it to be installed in awkward places and it has its own wire management system to keep things tidy.
The PSB Customsound CS1000 is available now, distributed in the UK by Armour Home, for £299 in black or white finishes, though they can also be painted over.
