MEElectronics style headphones

17 mars 2011

MEElectronics has announced a new three-strong headphone range for the UK.

MEElectronics SP51P MEElectronics SP51P

The new range includes two in-ear models and a single on-ear type. Top of the range are the SP51P (£45) in-ears, which come with an inline microphone for hands-free talking on a mobile phone. Unusually, they also have a choice of three Sound Preference Series ‘tuning ports’. They’re noise-cancelling ear buds, essentially, but MEElectronics claims they allow you to alter the sonic character of the earphones, with ‘enhanced bass’, ‘extreme bass’ and ‘balanced sound’ options.

Below the top-of-the-range model are the M6 (£20) in-ears. Designed for ‘athletes, active people and joggers’, they loop over your ears to provide extra stability when you’re on the move.

The HT-21 (£30) on-ear ’phones feature a closed-back design with swivelling, foldable ear cups and an adjustable headband.

All three models are available now.
