Kitchen gadgets manufacturer Breville has announced the Radio Toaster – a radio that also makes toast.

Bizarre though it seems, the company’s audio-enhanced toaster includes a built-in FM/AM radio (no DAB though), graphic equaliser, ten presets and backlit digital display. And if analogue radio isn’t enough music for you, there’s even a line-in for connecting your iPod or MP3 player.
It also has two slots for your toast, with defrost and reheat functions as well as a removable crumb tray. No sign yet of a radio that will also make the tea, however.
The BrevilleRadio Toaster will go on sale at the beginning of March for £50.
