View Quest has announced a new DAB radio and iPod dock combo called the Retro 1.

It’s bedecked in retro-looking (see what they’ve done there?) leather livery and includes FM as well as DAB reception and comes with stereo speakers, an iPod/iPhone dock.
The tuner includes ten-presets and auto scan, while the built-in amplifier will pump out 2×2 watts of power. There’s also an auxiliary input for other sources such as non-Apple MP3 players.
It’s powered by batteries, with a 15-hour life, and both the main case and the carrying handle are finished in leather.
The British firm’s product manager Chris Mole said: “We wanted something retro without simply being a reproduction. Retro is very cool but it had to have a View Quest spin on it.”
