Tannoy has announced its HTS range of compact home cinema speakers.

The range is designed to deliver “a big sound and high energy movie thrills” from an exceptionally small cabinet. Each of the speakers in the range includes neodymium drivers and Tannoy’s own Wideband Tweeter technology inside high-density wood fibre cabinets.
All come with a gloss black finish and they’re all intended to be used with the matching HTS subwoofer which includes a downward-firing 8in long-throw driver.
The HTS 101 features wall or shelf-mount speakers ideal for smaller spaces, while the HTS 201 with its floorstanding front speakers is designed for larger rooms.
The speakers are also available separately and there’s the HTS 3.0 add-on pack (with two satellites and a centre channel) for £230, the HTS 5.0 pack (four satellites and a centre) for £350 and a pair of HTS Tower floorstanding left and right speakers cost you £350. The HTS subwoofer on its own costs £250.
The HTS series is available now. The HTS 101 is on sale for £550 and the HTS 201 costs £780.
