The Impression series comes in both 5.1 and 7.1 versions, with both floorstanding and bookshelf models and system prices ranging from £1,500 to £2,250.
The smallest 5.1 bookshelf system is called the £1,500 IMP-5.1-1 and consists of four E5Bi bookshelf speakers, an E5Ci centre channel and an ES10i powered subwoofer.
Further up the scale, the £1,900 7.1 bookshelf system, the IMP-7.1-1, adds another pair of E5Bi bookshelf speakers.
Also for £1,900 is the 5.1 IMP-5.1-2, which offers two E5Bi speakers for the rear channels, an E5Ci centre, ES10i sub, and two E5Ti floorstanders for the front pair.
And last but not least, the £2,250 7.1 IMP-7-1-2, includes another two E5Bi speakers.
The E5Ti includes three 6.5in poly-matrix woofers, two 5.25in aluminised poly-matrix midrange drivers with fixed phase plugs, and a 1in poly-silk soft dome tweeter. To follow, there will also be a larger floorstander, the E55Ti, costing £1,000 a pair.
The E5Bi bookshelf speakers use 5.25in aluminised poly-matrix woofers and a 1in fabric dome tweeter.
The EMP Tek Impressions series will be available later this month in high-gloss red burl or black ash, via UK distributor Aldous Systems’ national network of dealers.
