US-based manufacturer SoundFreaq has announced its flagship Bluetooth iPod dock, the Sound Platform.

As well as charging and playing iPods or iPhones via its dock, it will also accept streamed music from any Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone or other device and play it back over its built-in speakers.
The Sound Platform (SFQ-01) includes custom-made speakers fitted into a dual port design and there’s also a free remote control app available for iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad
SoundFreaq’s Nolan Newman said: “After a lifetime of being ‘wired’ to our favourite tunes, The Sound Platform can liberate your music to produce the ultimate sound experience. We believe that it is the next generation of the home audio system.”
The SoundFreaq Sound Platform is available now in a gloss black finish only for £200.
