Glass furniture specialist Greenapple has announced two new AV stands, the Niche and the Cliff.
The Niche’s intriguing ‘floating’ shelf design (pictured) consists of a rectangular toughened glass structure with an integral shelf unit to house a DVD player, receiver and/or satellite receiver and will apparently fit in very nicely with any TV up to 50in. The Cliff is similar in design except that it’s slightly smaller and the integral shelf unit is positioned at the top of the structure to form the top base. It’s designed for TVs up to 42in.
Both are available with a Piano Black finished shelf unit, or one of three real wood veneer options – Wenge, Walnut or Oak.
David Applebaum, Greenapple’s founder and MD said: “The AV market now demands more lifestyle TV furniture with higher average selling prices and resulting cash margins, so future-proof designs such as Niche and Cliff will meet this demand head on.”
