La société Meridian, qui se spécialise dans la fabricaton de systèmes audio/video très haut de gamme, vient officiellement d’annoncer la mise en place d’un partenariat avec la société Faroudja.
Cet étroite collaboration née d’une volonté de proposer aux clients des solutions très haut de gamme en matière de traitement et de diffusion vidéo, permettra à Meridian et à Faroudja de co-développer des systèmes vidéo basés autour de nouveaux algorithmes. Meridian ayant une licence exclusive, il lui sera possible d’intégrer à volonté les nouveaux systèmes mis au point dans ses futures machines.
De plus, ce partenariat porte également sur la distribution et la promotion des produits Faroudja par Meridian, ce dernier devrait notamment prendre en charge la distribution des scalers mais aussi des projecteurs DiLA développé par Faroudja.

Genesis Microchip and Meridian have also agreed to cooperate in the development of advanced video processing algorithms for inclusion in future Meridian video systems.
