The Crestron CEN-IDOCV-DSW is an iPod dock with a difference, since it’s designed to be fitted to a wall, so your iPod can be used as the source for audio and video distribution around the home.

It’s designed to be used with a Crestron home installation system and draws power through the LAN wiring to provide audio, video, USB, and high-speed Ethernet connectivity to synchronise your iPod with any networked computer running iTunes and can reproduce the iPod interface on Crestron touch panels.

Robin van Meeuwen, Managing Director of Crestron UK said: “Now users have the option to choose a tabletop docking station for the home office and an in-wall in the kitchen. You can enjoy your entire personal media collection anywhere in the house and on any Crestron touchpanel, just by placing your iPod in the most convenient docking station.”
