US-based firm Media Decor has announced three ranges of artistic covers for wall-mounted flat screen TVs.
Aware that not everyone in the household may consider a large screen to be thing of beauty, the company now offers a range of framed artwork designed to be hung over the display.
There are over 2,500 works of art available in three different types of display. Moving Art uses a magnetic furling system to automatically retract the still or moving artwork when the screen is in use, and extend it when the display is idle. It’s available for screen sizes of 43in to 120in with prices in the US between $7,250 and $12,350.
The Eclipse Art Lift is designed for displaying personal artwork or photographs and offers another automatically retracting frame with a built-in drive unit and can slide to one side or to both right and left like a curtain. Prices range from $5,450 to $5750.
The Mirage Mirror covers the screen with a mirror display which drops down from the top of the TV. Prices start at $5,200 with a choice of 40 different frames.
