New to the world of premium quality earphones comes UK-based Atomic Floyd, with an interesting design twist on the standard formula with the TwistJax.
The twist in question concerns the TwistJax’s Twist2Fit technology, which allows the earbuds to rotate up to 180 degrees around a central pivot, to help ensure the perfect fit, even for corkscrew-shaped ears.
Another innovation is something Atomic Floyd calls AcousticSteel – basically the earbud casings are made from an injection moulded metal that’s heat treated to create thinner walls, so maximising the acoustic chamber within for improved sound quality.
It also has a mini bass port to improve the lower end sonics and a 24K gold 3.5mm jack plug, so it should be compatible with just about any player you fancy.
The TwistJax is top of the tree, but the company is also launching a full range of earphones, with models including the AirJax, AirDrum, HiDefJax, and the HiDefDrum.
The Atomic Floyd TwistJax is on sale now for £130.
