Denon have added a entry level Blu-ray player to it’s range, the DBP-1610.
The £399 DBP-1610 Blu-ray player has 1080p video upscaling, Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio and offers a high definition video experience.
The new model features an onboard Ethernet port that allows for Internet access for BD Live and firmware updates. Adding to its video handling capabilities, the DBP-1610 offers DivxHD playback and supports AVCHD playback from DVDs and SD cards made from HD camcorders.
Due out in October the Blu-ray player can also be used as a step-up CD player, the Denon DBP-1610 features a dedicated two channel analogue audio output, equipped with high-class Burr-Brown D/A converters and superior analogue components.
The Denon DBP-1610 will be available in October in a black finish at a suggested retail price of £399.99.
