High-end speaker manufacturer of distinction Ferguson Hill has unveiled two new loudspeaker set-ups, the FH009 home theatre cinema system and the FH010, a scaled-down version of the firm’s iconic see-through FH001 horn speaker.
The FH009 is a ‘2.2’ system with dipolar horn speakers including neodymium magnets and horn-loaded drivers that magnify the frequency range best attuned to the human ear – that’s the area between 340Hz and 20kHz apparently.
The central unit includes two subwoofer drivers and a class A-B integrated amp that works with any audio-out enabled device. The horn speakers can be wall mounted or freestanding and like other FH speakers are made from transparent acrylic.
The larger FH010 is a mid-sized system which includes two bass speakers and two mid/high horn speakers that the company claims will just as easily complement your hi-fi as your DVD player. The horns sit on dedicated stainless steel stands above the floorstanding bass speakers.
The FH009 is on sale now for £795 while the FH010 will be available later in the year for £6,000.
