(BEIJING, CHINA – 25 April 2007) Integrated Systems China (IS China), the premier tradeshow for audiovisual and electronic communications systems integration, opened today at Beijing Exhibition Centre, China. Organized by InfoCommAsia with the Chinese Institute of Electronics as the local host organization, the show is staged for three days during 25-27 April 2007.
Now in its fifth edition, IS China 2007 will showcase 180 international and local exhibitors from 17 countries, representing a 33% increase in size over the 2006 show. The event occupies an exhibiting area of 13,600 square meters. According to the Chinese Institute of Electronics, the total revenue generated from sales of electronic information products in China reached RMB 4,500 billion in 2006, ranking this the second biggest market worldwide. In addition, the total export value of electronic information products was USD 342 billion in the same year, accounting for 25% of the world’s total trade value.
