High performance and high style meet in perfect harmony with compact new Marantz design

As the saying goes the best things come in small packages. This is certainly the case with the latest, stylish offering from Marantz, which is its neat and petite CR601 CD/DAB receiver as well as CR401 system.

Despite packing in a CD player, amplifier, and DAB/FM/AM radio into its perfectly proportioned, pint-sized enclosure the component still delivers the high standard of musical performance that Marantz is renowned for. The CR601 is perfect for those seeking a high-quality, cost effective audio system for their lounge, kitchen, bedroom or office.

With its wonderful DAB radio the elegant little CD receiver gives effortless access to more than 300 new DAB stations nationwide, all transmitted in crystal clear sound. The CR601 also has a FM/AM radio with 40 presets, giving you the best of both radio worlds in one elegantly designed package. When it comes to discs, the CR601 can play practically anything you throw at it, including CD-R and CD-RWs, and most importantly, MP3-encoded recordings. And thanks to the high quality 24-bit/192kHz digital to analogue converter, CDs sound full, natural and detailed.

And just because the CR601 is small, don’t think Marantz has cut any corners when it comes to features. For starters, there is a raft of connections for easy system expansion, including three analogue inputs and two outputs, while the CR601 also offers both optical and electrical digital ins and outs. There’s even a subwoofer output. Moreover, you’ll find bass and treble controls that can be bypassed using the source direct button for better sound quality, a headphone socket, as well as clock and sleep timer functions.

Marantz offers within their Range Series also the CR401. This CD-Receiver includes all features of it’s big brother CR601 except the DAB-functionality.
